In 2017, the team leader worked with the Ministry of Finance and Economic development and Planning and UNICEF and UNDP in the development of the Monitoring and Evaluation Framework for the Malawi Growth and Development Strategy (MGDS III) 2017-2022. The exercise included providing baseline as well as targets for evaluation of the strategy. The strategy also articulated a Developed Theory of Change for development pathways and the monitoring and evaluation framework for the plan against which progress and achievements MGDS III strategy could be measured and also developed SDG domestication and reporting system
Project: Development of the Monitoring and Evaluation-Sustainable Agriculture Production Programme-IFAD 2014-2015
Client: Ministry of Finance and Economic development and Planning and International Fund for Agriculture Development (IFAD), Ministry of Agriculture Irrigation and Water Development.
Developing of the M&E system for the Sustainable Agriculture Production Programme-IFAD that aimed at improving access to agricultural inputs and farmer adoption of Good Agriculture Practices (GAPs). Design the programme Log-frame and Performance Monitoring system, Data Collection and Analysis tools from the Extension Planning Areas (EPAs), Diagnosed on priority information needs, refined questions and indicators to include SAPP-specific ones and RIMS indicators, Aligned indicators with those of ASWAp, Proposed on methods of data collection, (Registers); and agreed on roles and responsibilities at EPA, District, ADD & National level
